Today’s economic crisis compels us to reject the temptation to return to “business as usual”. Tackling inequalities is more necessary than ever as the most vulnerable have been hit hardest by the COVID-19 crisis and as social movements have protested against systemic discrimination. Businesses and governments must seize this crisis to tackle systemic inequalities and build resilience, and align their efforts to reach longer-term goals such as SDGs.
